Natalie is a Taiwanese-American photographer inspired by warmth & connection, reminiscent of her upbringing in Hawai'i. She graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography & Imaging while working alongside designers & directors in the fashion industry on editorial and campaign productions. Within her own work, Natalie has sought to shed light on the refugee crisis, climate change & waste management, and the intersection between faith, ethnicity, & art.

For over a decade, Natalie has directed her lens towards weddings and personal stories, finding a meaningful depth in the relationships that she develops with her subjects and the cultural & physical environments that surround them. Her background in fashion marries a tender, documentarian perspective to provide refined imagery with an editorial edge without compromising the truth of what happened.

Though Natalie is based in Seattle, she travels often for clients who value her eye and have sought her out for their events & projects.

For as long as I can remember, I've had a camera in my hands, along with a persistent desire to collect scenes that I feel connected to. Photography has always functioned as my interpreter, allowing me to understand myself as well as others; it gives me the visual vocabulary to write the stories I see before me and help others to do the same.
