Kira & Anthony | Kaneohe, HAWAIʻI
Intimate morning ceremony on Oahu's Kualoa Ranch
Kira & Anthony married at Kealohiwai, Hakipu’u on Kualoa Ranch where they spent much of their time while Anthony cared for the grounds & aquaculture. Fittingly, the farmer & his girl wore boots, along with a traditional maile lei to go with the groom's palaka and a celebratory ten-strand pikake lei for the bride. Red Hilo anthuriums were the flower of choice throughout as a nod to Kira's childhood spent in her grandparent’s backyard. The kalo surrounding their ceremony site was planted by Anthony & his team, and the lanai where they held a brunch reception was often their date spot for coffee at sunrise. Their day felt incredibly personal and nostalgic as we basked in the morning light in view of Kanehoalani, the tallest peak on the Ko'olau ridge — the couple's favorite sight.
