Savannah & Galen | Colima, Mexico

A vibrant whirlwind weekend of wedding festivities
at the historic Hacienda de San Antonio estate

Savannah & Galen's wedding took place at the Hacienda de San Antonio, an immaculate 19th century hotel located in the foothills of the active Volcano of Colima, Mexico. The couple is known by their loved ones for their passion for food & hosting and dedication to sustainable practices, specifically preserving and cultivating land on the groom's family ranch in Hawaii. Their choice to marry at this estate was a natural fit since it is not only a stunning venue in a country that they love, but also a proprietor of biodynamic farming and curator of refined Mexican cuisine.
During the planning process, the couple was decidedly "allergic" to the usual wedding traditions, and instead, wanted to focus on enjoying all that the Hacienda had to offer together with their 50 guests. Their three day weekend included a rooftop welcome party with a mariachi band and Ballet Folklórico dancers, a picnic on Rancho Jabalà (5,000 acres of landscape and livestock where most of the produce served on the property is sourced), a ceremony in the bamboo forest, and a reception to remember with overflowing florals, a live performance, and fireworks on the terrace. Everyone joined Savannah & Galen on the last day at the Hacienda's oasis — tucked away in the gardens, a post-wedding day of lounging at the pool was the perfect way to close out their dream weekend.
